RAPLH FELICE!



"I just kept hitting fairways"
-Ralph Felice on what propelled him to victory

They don't call him Ralph "Fairways" Felice for nothing.  On his way to capturing the 2019 President's Cup Championship, Ralph had to overcome some shaky starts to take home some close matches.
3 Down to Pete "I have the greatest mustache on the planet" Scheibner at one point, he battled back to AS thru 17.  After piping one down the (you guessed it) fairway on the tight 18th, he popped his next shot 25 feet from the pin on the green, securing his 1 up win after Scheibs dumped his 2nd shot into the face of the front bunker, setting up a very difficult 3rd shot which got the best of him.  
Next up, was the final match against Michael O'Connell.  With his lucky charm and wife Lucille by his side, Big Mike got off to a 3 Up lead thru 9 Holes! Yes!  But once again, Ralph battled back to make it AS thru 17 holes.  After finding the fairway and green, Ralph waited for Mike who had shortsided himself left of the greenside bunkers to a front left pin.  Mike was able to flop it about 40 feet away on the fringe, but 3 putts later, Ralph was hoisting the Trophy and celebrating with a few cocktails.  After contemplating quitting the game of golf after the agonizing loss, Mike regrouped and he and Lucille went back out to play again for their 6,548th round of the year.

Ralph will be holding a winner's brunch on Sunday, August 25th in the Grille Room @ Patriot Hills to celebrate his victory.  All drinks and food are on Ralph as he rejoices in his incredible achievement! Please call the pro shop @ 845-947-7085 ext 2, if you plan on attending.
